To uncover the secrets to success, Citi’s managing director and head of digital partnerships, content and social, Linda Descano, CFA®, embarked on a virtual listening tour with men and women across the country about their financial and professional journeys.

We know that money is the “it” factor in our lives – we earn it, spend it, save it, squander it, donate it, manage it, and share it, but often don’t talk about it. Surviving Children: Putting Your Marriage First

with Meagan Frank, Author and Speaker
Originally Presented: Sunday, May 5, 2013 8-9pm ET

The number one stressor on marriage is children. Satisfaction rates go down, stress levels go up, and it is difficult to maintain the marital relationship. The irony of this difficulty is that of all the connections in the house, the marriage matters most. It takes intentional investment, compromise, clear communication, a network of other people, and time away from the children to maintain a solid marriage.

Any woman who hopes to strengthen her marriage, who seeks to raise happy and well-adjusted kids, and who recognizes that where she grows the rest of the family will follow, should join us to hear about the latest insights and challenges of the modern married woman. Surviving the child-rearing years is not easy, but one thing that will help is to put the marriage first.

Webinar: Laughing your way through Motherhood

with Tracy Beckerman, author of “Lost in Suburbia: A Momoir”
Originally Presented: Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 1-2pm ET

After two pregnancies and a reluctant move to the suburbs, author and nationally syndicated columnist Tracy Beckerman has lived to tell the tale of the absurd in the ‘burbs. In her debut book, Lost in Suburbia: A Momoir, Tracy humorously recalls how her real–life experiences as a stay–at–home mom, wife, and suburban dweller challenged her self–identity and inner cool. Armed with a wicked sense of humor and a quest to reclaim her skinny jeans, Beckerman began to write her story of salvation for the suburban mom.

While the humor shines through in this insightful “Momoir,” it is also the story of a woman challenging the norm and working through the process of self–exploration. Through her daily struggles with identity and self–confidence, Tracy finds her way to the other side with her ability to find the funny in the everyday; and of course a cool haircut, jeans that fit, and a new outlook on motherhood.

Enjoy our recording of Estelle Sobel Erasmus, Mothers & More board member, interviewing Tracy and discussing what you give up to be a mother – and what you get back.
