Power of a Purse

We created Power of a Purse in 2009 to spotlight mothers’ economic issues, in part by collecting new and gently used purses for mothers in need. We continue to focus on mothers’ financial savvy, and to support mothers in our communities.

Power of a Purse

For Power of a Purse 2013, we will invite you to share your “purse-onal” stories. We want to hear about the memories that shaped your ideas about money. Your first piggy bank and how you filled it. What you did with the money you earned babysitting or flipping burgers. We want to know how you feel about your financial present and future.
