Proven through an array of job experiences, Michelle is a “solid performer” with “refreshing energy and leadership”. In 2010, she encountered a junction on her life journey, and after a period of serious soul searching, parted ways with her upward engineering management career to dive into the world of advocacy and consulting.

Michelle’s life as a mobile active duty military spouse, her steadfast dedication to pursuing satisfying, impactful and society-enriching work, and her willingness to fulfill her life’s greater purpose all guided and molded her unique career path. Her remarkable job pursuit success rate is 57%; she has interviewed for over 40 positions, received 17 job offers and declined an additional seven offers for site visits and/or top candidate interviews. She achieved employment success through her many moves despite the challenges of having:

• an array of short term and seemingly unrelated work experiences,
• little to no previous experience in the industries she pursued,
• a lack of a nearby family support system during deployments,
• a lengthy period of non-paid work as a Stay-at-Home Parent,
• the inability to develop or commit to long-term employment,
• and continually arriving in new local areas with no established network or connections.

Through Skilled Assets, LLC, she is focusing her energy on improving the lives of people by sharing her progressive employment strategies. Her business is built upon the belief that we all have a unique set of skills and perspectives from our experiences.
