Our Members

Every mother is unique, but statistically a “typical” Mothers & More member is:

• Average age of 37
       o  20-29 – 7%
       o  30-39 – 63%
       o  40-49 – 28%
       o  50 & over – 2%
  

• Married
• Two children
• Mobile
       o  55% have moved at least once since the birth of their first child

• Well educated
       o  88% have college degrees
       o  39% have a Masters, Ph.D. or other professional degree.

Paid and Unpaid Workplace Participation

• Members are almost evenly split in terms of current participation in the paid workplace
       o  47.5% do paid work
       o  52.5% do not work for pay

• Of the 47.5% that are working for pay
       o  64% work part-time (1 – 34 hours per week)
       o  36% work 35 hours or more per week
       o  11% work 41+ hours per work

• 80% of members volunteer with non-profits, including Mothers & More
• Of those members NOT currently working for pay, 88% plan to return to work in the future.
